Congratulations dude! I love your flashes, and I actually live in Sandy, Utah which is about an hour and a half drive away from the BYU campus.
Do you happen to be LDS? Because if you're not... Oh man, you're gonna find something interesting in The Mormons. And if you are? Oh man, you're gonna find something interesting in the Utah version of Mormons.
I've met Mormons from all different places I've lived, and had a great respect for their beliefs and their church. Until I moved to Utah. Utah Mormons have RUINED my views on the church overall, and as much as I hate holding grudges... They may have ruined the idea of faith in any way for me.
Regardless, good luck to you sir :) You'll need it because, like you said, it's competitive as all hell.

Yeah, I'm LDS, and I've been to Utah to visit a few of my brothers while they were attending college. And I can definitely agree with you that the saints there can be WAAAY different than in other places. Hopefully I can change your view for the better with my movies. Maybe I'll even get a little better at making them while I'm at it!
