That is some clean line work! And how did you vary the softness of your shadows? It looks like they change mid-stroke!

I have no clue what this is referencing, but part of me wishes that it's not referring to anything and you just have some extremely specific thoughts about clowns.
Your new life mission is to watch Killer Klowns from Outer Space, it's free on YouTube and one of the best b movie horror films ever made
Cool concept!
Thanks! I had fun hehe
Oh that's terrible. I love it.
It’s even worse with context lol
I've never seen hellraiser (I'm a baby when it comes to horror). I didn't know pinhead even had a backstory. Fascinating!
Right, and then you learn he even has a human name! *laughs*
There are 2 distinct backstories of the character - the books and the films and they have nothing alike, not even his looks are. In books he was actually a minor side character and never had a name nor much importance.
However the character in films is much more curious one. You can learn of his backstory mainly from 3rd film - when we stick to that media alone. In a cut dialogue there is even location mentioned, where according to himself he truly lost faith and have to admit, his human self is very charismatic and likable in the 2 films he appears. In the 2nd film - he has one of the nicest smirks of cinema history. Probably reason I started to do all those backstory doodles as I did few of them before I had actually seen the 3rd film.
Dude, so sick.
THANK YOUU
Man, you never see stuff like this on NG. I love it! I think the thing I like most is the subtlety in his expression--like a mild contempt mixed with amusement.
I am sure you are being too kind. :)
I love the detail on the frills! It looks gorgeous!
What's your tool for spriting, if I may ask?
Thanks! To describe it in one sentence. The game is about the player controlling the main character against his will.
I love the perspective! How did you achieve the warped reflection on the street?
Thank you!
I mirrored the top half of the bg, flipped it and warped it to fit, did the same for the character, then I used a lot of CSP's liquify and some overpainting for the effect. I think the whole water reflection is on "lighten" mode so the street's walkway paint could fit through.
Category: Pixel Art ;)
This is so cool! Oh my gosh, I can only imagine the amount of work to do something like this.
Thank you! I was trying to figure out where the category even was xD Fixed now <3
